HowKofi works
Kofi learned on a barbering floor in Peckham where the standard was set by whoever could hold a line in the worst light. He brought that discipline to LUMORA in 2020 and has been the studio's reference for clipper work ever since.
He is the person other artists in the room ask when a blend refuses to sit. His fades are cut in three passes minimum and finished with scissors, never left machine-clean.
Outside the chair he runs the studio's Sunday walk-in window, which he insisted on keeping free of a booking system.
A gradient is a straight line drawn on a curved surface. Get the geometry right and the rest is just patience.
Shapeson record
The three shapes Kofi is asked for most, and the three worth arriving with a reference for.

Fades have a two-week honesty problem

Against the menu
Number two back and sides. Skin fade plus beard trim. The menu barbershop sells haircuts as SKUs, and the shape of the room follows. A note on why we build the appointment around the head instead.
